Whales Watching at Samana (Jan 15 to Mar 15)
Early morning departure from the hotel for a day full of adventure in Samana. A unique opportunity to observe humpback whales in their natural calving and mating grounds.
After watching the whale, our destination is Cayo Levantado, sometimes called the Bounty Island, a tiny island just off the Samana Peninsula. A delicious buffet lunch is included. On our way back we will make a stop a typical farm. Just after it we head uphill to Montaña Redonda to touch the sky and breath deep pure air, where you will also have a wonderful panoramic view of all its surroundings, including Samana peninsula and Miches. The best place to take a perfect picture for Instagram! More than 95% of our trips see whales. Very important to know. Remember humpback whales are wild animals, and we can’t guarantee that you will 100% see them.
What to bring. Sunglasses, sun lotion, beach towels, bathing suits, and some cash money.
